Since i m a mathematics student, i love to do a data science project, such as data processing, modelling and others like a usual data pipeline. But i don't really good at coding, and also the reason i study math in university is because i think math is just a usual calculation that we do in high school that doesnt need any coding skills, so i reject all my friends invitation to join with them study computer science and go following my instinct to study math. And i was wrong....
I enjoy to do the math but i hate to do coding stuff, i need alot of time to learning the language (Python is actually easy but it just me that need alot of time), reading package documentation (this is the mosting i hate the most) and implementing it. But it all change when suddenly a thing call Chatgpt show up, and after that alot of more powerfull ai exist such as Claude, Perplexity, and GLM model it make coding from hell to heaven suddenly i love to code. I can transform all my idea and my mathematics logic into code (but still i need to check it and debug it), and some stupid idea came to my mind.
WHAT IF INTERNET DISAPPEAR AND I CAN'T CODE?????
who the hell want to code when internet disappear, i dont know. Incase the company that i work in the futures need me to code when there is no internet in the world what should i do?
after that i found out that i can install ai model locally on my laptop and i found out it quite powerfull for a small parameter model. I install the Nvidia nemo 3 with only 4 billion parameter this model much smaller compare to my Opus 4.7 that i use daily with 1.2 Trillion parameter but it still it quite a good AI. I try to use it to give me explanation for preparing my thesis defense and to do a simple data analysis project and it can do it easly.
and now i know that if internet suddenly disappear, i still can do my coding task there is nothing to worry about HAHA.
